International Student Admission Requirements

Madonna University actively welcomes students of all faiths, backgrounds and nations. Of the approximate enrollment of 3,400 students at Madonna University, there are 150 international students from more than 30 countries.

ACADEMIC ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Undergraduate international students or students with international transcripts are required to submit the following items with their applications:

  • Completed application form.
  • Official (school stamped and sealed) transcripts from all schools attended. The transcripts should include subjects studied, grades and degrees earned, and graduation date. For students transferring from Colleges or Universities outside the United States, course descriptions and/or syllabi are recommended to receive the most accurate transfer credit evaluation.

Official English Language Proficiency Test Results – TOEFL, IELTS, or MELAB

Requirement for Undergraduate Admission:

TOEFL: 70 (iBT); IELTS: 6; MELAB: 76

Applicants who do not meet this requirement will be required to take an English placement test administered by Madonna University.  Based on the test result, students may be considered for conditional admission and be required to take English language classes at Madonna University.

IMMIGRATION DOCUMENT (I-20) REQUIREMENTS

  • Financial Statement for students needing an F1 visa
  • A copy of your passport photo page. If not available, then a copy of a government issued card that has the legal spelling of your name
  • If currently residing inside the U.S., a copy of your US permanent resident card or VISA
APPLICATION DEADLINES:  
Fall Semester:             April 1 for overseas applicants
May 1 for applicants transferring in the US
Winter Semester:   October 1 for overseas applicants
November 1 for applicants transferring in the US
 Summer Semester:   February 1 for overseas applicants
March 1 for applicants transferring in the US
