Madonna University currently fields 22 varsity teams, with hundreds of undergraduates participating. Since its membership in the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference began in 1997, Madonna teams have won more than 50 conference titles and made more than 30 appearances in NAIA National Championships.
Led by students in the Sport Management Society, teams can participate in 6-week intramural seasons. Intramural sports include sand volleyball, basketball, flag football, and more.
Students can enjoy the use of the Activities Center late night for pick up basketball and volleyball when Michigan's weather turns cold and the outdoor courts are covered in snow.
Students can take a break from studying and stay in shape using the equipment in our Fitness Center, located on the ground level of the University Center.
With the support of Student Senate, sand volleyball and outdoor basketball courts were installed in early 2017.
